Psalm 91 seems to be a favourite of Satan. He quotes verses 11 and 12 at Jesus during the wilderness temptation.For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. (91:11-12)
The next verse seems to predict Satan's own downfall. He does not quote verse 13 to Jesus. ;)
You will tread upon the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent. (91:13)
God's enemies quote scripture - they just do it selectively.
